Introducing Mr. Hospitality, Randy! Randy seems to know everyone and everyone knows and loves him! He has been involved with Thresholds for many years on a variety of levels, including serving on the Thresholds Board of Directors. Currently Randy is in the Thresholds Life Skills program, chairs an advisory panel of Thresholds participants, and is one of the key members of the Hospitality Committee.
Randy has a big heart and a big laugh. He loves people and loves helping others. His church, First United Methodist in downtown Grand Rapids, sponsors temporary labor for people in the downtown area. Randy is a volunteer at the church for this program making sure everybody has a fresh cup of coffee and good conversation while they wait for their work assignments.
Randy is willing to jump into any opportunity, especially if it benefits others. His latest project is to help Thresholds’ participants learn how to ride the bus to the Thresholds offices for activities and events.
Randy’s caring doesn’t stop at Thresholds. His family members know they can count on him when they need support. He is always there to go the extra mile to help them out in any way he can. Thresholds is lucky to have Randy on our team!
